climbing up the mountain

Someone once said, everyone likes to be on the Mountain Top, but the Valley is where you do all your growing. So, instead of spilling my guts while in the valley. I thought for now I would leave you with some of the books, quotes and things that I'm currently reading to gain inspiration, wisdom, strength and knowledge as I make my way back up the mountain. On my journey, up this hill, to the best most rewarding life of living and falling crazy in love with Christ.

Oh...the memories

Have you ever realized just how much a certain scent or song can bring up past feelings and memories,just by hearing or smelling something. I can even take it a step farther by saying I can just be going through my day, doing the norm everyday stuff, hear a song from the past and bam! all of a sudden... my mood changes. Sometimes the memories are so strong that at times I have been brought to tears, just by hearing a song. temporary madness

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.
